Who is running the workshop?

Mollie Gray is a self taught sourdough lover, who has been mastering the craft of sourdough over the last 5 years. She now infuses sourdough into all things made from flour; bread, pasta, gnocchi, english muffins, brioche buns, crackers, cakes, pancakes, crumpets and more. It's a passion she has since been sharing with her community, empowering others to take control of the quality of wheat that finds itself in all of our diets.

Do I need to know how to make sourdough already?

You do not! I will be teaching you right from the beginning, and give you everything you need to be able to bake bread on your own at home.

Where is the workshop held?

We will be in the main cafe at Garden House Kina, at times using the commercial kitchen for part of the workshop.

Will I get to take a loaf home?

Yes! You will be taking a loaf of bread in a proofing basket, ready to bake in your own oven the next morning!

Do I need to bring anything?

You do not need to bring a thing! Simply come with hair tied up and no jewellery on hands and I will have everything else you need.

What time should I arrive?

The workshop begins at 3pm on Saturday. Arrive at 3pm ready to enjoy a few nibbles as we slowly begin our workshop.

The workshop will finish at approx 5:30pm leaving about 30mins to bake and eat pizza! Finishing up at 6pm.
